Obsession? Nah...

Webkinz have become somewhat of an obsession for me. Well, not REALLY an obsession but it is fun to go on their website http://www.webkinz.com/ and discover new things. But, you need to buy a Webkinz first and then go to their website and type in the secret code. When I see an adorable Webkinz or Lil' Kinz that I don't have yet I buy it.

This is a picture of my collection, including my latest addition, the Sherbert Bunny. I named her Lavender.

(my Webkinz's names starting from the left)

Tader Tots, Snugs, Steven, Mickala, Dusty, Keri, Lavender, Oreo, and Springer

Funky Fluffy Scarf For My Mom

This is a scarf I made for my mom a LONG time ago. I didn't have pimples then. It was probably like two years ago or something. I used a blue fun fur yarn with another yarn that I'm pretty sure was called Softie. I just knitted for this scarf, no purling. I made it sixteen stitches long. The only problem is my mom never wears it!

Oh, bother..........doesn't she look like she is sighing.

Exchange City

I have signed up for Exchange City this year. It is a place that is totally run by kids. We have jobs and businesses like a bank, a restaurant, a nature shop, etc. The businesses get loans from the bank and try to pay them off with the money that they earn. But, first before you go to Exchange City you have to fill out TONS of forms, profiles and even get a job interview! It is fun though, I must say.

The jobs I'm applying for are:

Web Page Designer (because I have a blog and like creating things)

Graphics Designer (because I like creating things and think greeting cards are cool)

Sign Shop Production Designer (because I like like writing and creating things)

Yes, I do like creating things. I REALLY want Web Page Designer!!! Graphics Designer and Sign Shop Production Designer would be cool, too, but.....

Lacy Washcloth

This is a washcloth that I made from a blue and white cotton yarn. I found the pattern for it in a little knitting booklet thing called Knit Dishcloth Sampler. It took me a few weeks to finish it. As you can probably tell, I'm not the fastest of knitters. The cables were really fun to do and I love how they came out.

The only problem is that after I first washed it, it became this ugly super wide short thingy. It isn't as pretty as it used to be now, but oh well. I mean it's only a washcloth, right?

A Scarf For My Twin Sister

This is another scarf I have made from fun fur yarn. I made it for my sister Maddie. It took me so long to finish it because I kept picking it up for a few minutes and then I'd put it back down. I finally got so annoyed with it that I didn't stop knitting until it was done.

Crocheted Washcloth

I learned how to crochet! My mom taught me a little while ago. When I first started I really stank, but now I'm a little better. All you do is use a cotton yarn and do single crochet stitch. I love the colors of the yarn. It's so pretty. I just got some other cotton yarn from my mom that's like a brightish green, light blue, and a dark blue. It's really pretty too. I made a little scarf for one of my many stuffed animals out of it a little while ago. I'm thinking of posting a picture of it soon. I might make a washcloth out of that yarn too.
